Non-verbal communication is the most direct route to creating behavioral and emotional change. Animals receive and integrate this form of communication immediately and without the barriers of analysis and beliefs making them very quick learners. Mind Body Studies’ non-verbal, hands-on applications, which address the entire system, are perfectly suited for animal-human communication.
Through the decades, we have found animals extremely responsive to MBS work. Practitioners who take this work into the animal world have transformed the lives of almost every species, from reptiles, to birds and mammals, on land and in the sea, wild and domesticated. MBS work has helped animals overcome injury, stress and trauma of captivity, and helped prepare dogs and horses for international events.
MBS work addresses patterns of neurological and skeletal connections, which are reflected as feedback between humans and animals and are almost instantaneously integrated and realigned.
In addition, MBS students who integrate this communication directly to their horses while riding, learn how to use themselves optimally as the horse is a most accurate and sensitive feedback to them. Dogs, too, being so tuned into humans, are a clean and non-judgmental reflection of their owners. Learning to keep this communication open on more levels through MBS work has helped people in all works of life make the most of their relationship with their friends from the animal kingdom.
MBS Academy’s long time friend and associate, Dr. Linda Tellington-Jones, applies techniques and principles she had learned from Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais’ Mind Body Studies to develop Tellington Touch.
MBS Master Practitioner Wendy Murdoch has studied with MBS Academy for the past decade. She uses her MBS experience and master work with horses to create the Murdoch Method.
