Post-Graduate 3-Year Certification Program
Mia
Segal studied
and worked with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais starting in 1957 and for
fifteen years was his only student-assistant. He shared with her
his thoughts and ideas as he was developing his unique method. She
was, as he wrote "my apprentice sculptor in human bodies".
As
a child in this household,
Leora was
naturally integrated into the magical knowledge in the ‘Moshe
Tradition’. This body of work, available only to them for so
many years, they distilled and defined.
Now 50 years since the beginning of her work with
Moshe,
Mia will share a
never-before-presented program
with material that Moshe generously passed on to her, having had no
chance to present.
It is now being offered to Feldenkrais practitioners and teachers,
as a Postgraduate Certificate Program.
Make the Illusive Obvious explicit and usable:
•Soak
up the hands-on experience with naturalness and simplicity.
•Feel confidence with simple knowing.
•Learn how to 'not diagnose & conclude' and allow what you
see and feel to speak.
This is the secret essence - the true and
authentic Feldenkrais Method.
Schedule:
Over
3 years, 6 ten-day sessions will
be offered on both the East and West coast. Upon
successful completion, you will be awarded The Feldenkrais
Postgraduate Certificate, signed by Mia Segal and Leora
Gaster.
