Yang Shun - Swimming Champion !

Many of you may remember a very special demonstration subject in F 10 - Yang Shun had come to us after various surgeries for club-feet and was walking with difficulty with braces. He stole our hearts and admiration immediately with his brilliance and determination and made wonderful progress in front of our eyes working with Leora. Here is a letter from his father and, below that - photos of the SWIMMING CHAMPION !

"Dear Leora,

In 2003 and 2004 we visited you a few times at the Feldenkrais courses
you treated Yang Shun there
ever since we are going to Anna Verberne who still treats him every month
I would like to tell you it is going well with Yang Shun
he is doing fine at school and was succesfull with swimming last month
he participated in the swimming championships for disabled
on all the distances he competed he won the gold medal
so he can call himself Swimming Champion now
you find a few photo's of this match with this mail
I think the Feldenkrais also helped him to get this far
thank you for being in the start of that

From Practice To Teaching (FPT)

Our newest and most advanced program - the Trainer's Training - is progressing in a very exciting way. We are breaking grounds practicing the MBS Academy Teaching Models and each future trainer is getting a chance to practice and personalize the repertoire. Hi to all!
We're Bad Tolz again having fun with the Trainer's Training (FPT) It is very exciting to think of more of us going out into the world to share this knowledge. The enthusiasm and capabilities of the Trainers-In-Training is fantastic, just as we see that all who have been in any of our trainings carry the fundamental understanding of the work as a learning on all levels.

We have been receiving many strong requests for the need of this angle of the work to be brought into all the established Feldenkrais communities and into the world in general, and we are experiencing how all these positive thoughts are helping make it a reality.

So we look forward happily to the many places we are going to visit, this year and the next few years to come, in order to continue this joyous experience of collaborative learning and growth.

Perhaps we will see you in one of these beautiful places...

Some Catch-up and Advanced programmes

The Academy is moving forward very solidly. Our approach is creating great demand as our students are hugely appreciated worldwide.

We are now able to offer you various choices for completing and adding to your qualifications and missed seminars

We hope that by continuing your Feldenkrais education, you can help take ‘Moshe & Mia’s Way’ of working even farther. There are many waiting for your competent contributions and abilities.

Professional Foundations Catch –up

We are running a concentrated 10-day catch-up seminar for those who have missed one seminar of the 9 Professional Foundations . It will cover specific material missed by the participants registered for this seminar.
Location: Bad Tolz.
Dates: May 27-June 4 2006 OR October 12-22, 2006
Note: if you wish to pursue the Practitioner qualification will have to take the first date, as this certificate is a required for the Practitioner level.

NOTE: Let us know as soon as possible if you want to join this seminar, as time is short and if there will not be enough attendees we will have to hold it later, which means anyone who wants to catch this year's Practitioner Training will not be on time to quakify.

Notes: 1. This seminar is to be taken as a series and must be taken in sequence.

The new Professional Foundations F12

This 9-seminar Training Course will take place from March 31 - April 10, 2007 in Rome. We are looking forward to that fantastic location. The First 10 day seminar is introductory. Each student will be personally interviewed to establish mutual suitability. Those accepted can apply this first seminar as the first of the 9 complete training program.

Louella and Jimmy: The Dream Team. Our real Feldenkrais Babies.

It was freezing again: snow snow and more snow, but lovely and warm in our huge gymanasium.

We had an amazing Graduation Ceremony and Party for F11, complete with our new look certificates and two true seminar babies, Louella and Jimmy.
